About the Artist
Gabrielle Hogan is a musician, producer, and aspiring music composer/sound designer who enjoys turning her ideas into reality. If she were to have one quote describe her, it would be Friedrich Nietzsche’s “Without Music, life would be a mistake.”
She graduated from Ball State University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Music Media Production, where she was heavily involved in several different Music Industry/Business Projects and ensembles. She found her love of composing and designing once she started getting more involved in the electronic and composition classes that Ball State had to offer; such as ElectroAcoustic Ensemble, Live Sound and Recording, and Electronic Computer Music.
During her Senior Year, Gabrielle was the composer and lead sound designer for a student led Immersive Game Studio course - who went on to design a game, “Canning Heroes”, that earned Silver at the 2019 International Serious Play Awards - Student Division. The game was designed for installation on touch screens at the historic Oakhurst home at Minnetrista.
Gabrielle also has a heavy background in percussion performance, where she competed in the both WGI and DCI ensembles. Her performance experience in the marching arts community spanned 3 seasons with Legacy Indoor Percussion (World), Veritas (World), and 2 seasons with Music City Drum and Bugle Corps - where she served as a prominent leadership role in all ensembles.
Gabrielle currently resides in her hometown of Fishers, IN, where she enjoys making music in her ever expanding home studio. Outside of music, she hobbies in film, video games, and playing with her best friend’s 4 dogs.
