Echoes is a piano piece that I originally wrote about a year ago; and then I picked it up again to finish it. The piece was originally written for someone else, but after some time I wanted to rename and mix the piece for myself. One definition for Echoes is - "a close parallel or repetition of an idea, feeling, style, or event." This definition, as well as some events in my own personal life, inspired the name of the piece. The sound space for the piece can also be described as having literal echoes with the reverberant piano and repetitive themes.
